Mail Clerk

We are looking for help at our Long Island City office.  This role is a full time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. Needed ASAP!

  • Responsible for incoming mail and time stamp, open, read, sort, and scan incoming mail
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, document scanning, document uploading to web portals and faxing as needed.
  • Scan, Photocopy and print out documents.
  • Must possess knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
  • Organize and sort the incoming mail
  • Generate reports
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
