Marketing Director

The Marketing Director oversees the MetTel brand, promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. You will develop a corporate marketing plan, approve campaigns, and measure the return on investment of various inbound/outbound marketing efforts. The Marketing Director will report to the VP of Marketing and will manage the shared resources with channel marketing (Graphics, Digital Marketing, Content and Product and MarOps). Responsible for brand and message consistency across the organization, sales-enablement and demand generation.
Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and directs successful campaigns and communication activities, including developing sales-enablement materials and driving lead and demand generation campaigns. Report on ROI.
  • Evolve current marketing efforts into one cohesive marketing strategy and plan inclusive of channel marketing efforts that increases leads and revenue.
  • Create and execute on an annual marketing strategy and communications plan and budget for advertising, events, sponsorships, and martech additions, in partnership with Channel and Federal team.
  • Partner with sales and product leadership to develop the go-to-market strategy and communications  plan for future solutions and product launches.
  • Provide leadership and planning for all areas of digital communications including website content management, strategic email communications and social media integration.
  • Lead day to day marketing service operations. Develop process and project management for all incoming departmental requests. Then, lead the team to create compelling content and campaigns.
  • Manage the company events calendar, help with selection and scheduling of executive participation/speakers/attendees
Required Qualification: 
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing with 5 years in leadership
  • Solid knowledge of IT, SaaS and/or managed services.
  • Experience managing in-house teams, contractors and agencies to drive results in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful digital, social, print based marketing & communications campaigns
  • Passionate about providing best-in-class customer experience and use qualitative and quantitative insights to make decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, relational based leadership talent & skills with great project and time management.
  • Excellent oral & written communications skills
  • Solid knowledge of analytics and reporting, SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords, Experience with Salesforce and digital marketing tools and techniques (marketing automation platform) a must.
